Refund Policy
Policy
Our return and refund policy lasts 30 days from receipt and incurs a 10% restocking fee. At this time we only offer returns and do not offer product exchanges (unless the product is damaged when you receive it). If you receive a damaged item, please take a few pictures of the damage and e-mail details to us at hello@thechiccasa.com. We will send you instructions to return the item.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all tags attached. All returns will be shipped back at your cost.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit (net of the restocking fee) will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within couple days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your credit card or bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company or bank; sometimes it may take few days before your refund is officially posted.
Next, please contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@thechiccasa.com.
Sale Items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Replacements or Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. We do not at the present time offer exchanges. If you need to return at item for damage, send us an email at hello@thechiccasa.com. Returns will need to be shipped at your cost. We will provide you instructions for the return of items including shipping information. Once the exchange has been received, we will refund you the cost of the original item (minus a 10% restocking fee).
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and s/he will find out about your return.
Shop Pay refunds
If your refund amount is less than the amount remaining on your Shop Pay Installments balance, then you can expect one or both of the following:
- A smaller payment balance on the final payment
- Less future payments on the remaining loan balance
If your refund amount is more than the amount remaining on your Shop Pay Installments balance, then you can expect to receive the difference as a refund to your original debit card or credit card payment method within 3 to 10 business days.
